How to Maximize Sales and Operations Planning Results

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) is a set of cross-functional processes balancing demand with supply and producing an integrated business plan over a defined time horizon.  If done well, S&OP can improve forecasting accuracy, identify sales growth opportunities, optimize inventory, drive profitability and yield better service.  In Sep 2017, Hain rapidly implemented an S&OP process without purchasing a major technology solution.  We will discuss how it was accomplished, the results that have been achieved to date and next steps/future goals for this process.

You will learn:

  • How to rapidly implement a model S&OP process with limited resources. Change management challenges will be included.
  • The challenges we overcame and benefits we unlocked over the last year.
  • Future path of S&OP to plan further out, drive cross-functional integration and improve profitability measures.
